Sagittarians are the intellectual type. It’s easy for them to learn about new things. Thus, they can get bored easily. They’re the adventurous people who are not afraid of taking risks. It won’t be a surprise for this person to switch jobs everytime they see fit (meaning when they get tired of the what they’re doing which can happen all the time or until they find the perfect job for them). The archer is known to aim for high goals but no matter how much they make or how high the position is, if they feel they’re getting caged in they will look for something else. Below is a brief explanation and tips of what you can do If you’re a Sagittarian and are unhappy of your current career (or finding it hard to figure out what your next career move is) or if you work with a Sagittarian and would like to improve your work relations with him/her.
Figure out what you are good at and what you love doing.
Because a Sagittarian has a lot of interests they also have a lot of big ideas and they are very optimistic about these. They won’t mind investing all the time and resources they have for a certain project. A lot of Sagittarians are entreprenuers so they get into their own businesses and most of them succeed on this. Having a good grasp of the bigger picture might also help them be good managers. They see the big picture and then share it with the team so they can work on it. It won’t be hard as Sagittarians are natural born teachers. They are good at interacting with people and they have the patience to explain their ideas to them. That being said, Sagittarians can also be teachers and writers. The archer loves challenges. He wouldn’t mind a bit of pressure (as a matter of fact, he is good under pressure) because he likes finishing things he already started. He is very active and also love the out-doors so a career in sports, travel or tourism might be suitable.
To sum that up, the more active Sagittarians lean on sports and traveling/tourism, where they can meet people and move around a lot. On the other hand, the more intellectual types can go for more intellectual professions as trading, law and business.
Sagittarians as a boss.
Generally, Sagittarian bosses are easy to get along with. They are very generous when giving bonuses or a raise specially with employees who they know are working well. They can also be generous with time or deadlines and are very reasonable … most of the times. So if you’re having a hard time keeping up with the deadline he might just cut you some slack provided you have acceptable reasons. One bad side about a Sagittarian boss is that he can be stubborn and change his mind a lot. Specially when he gets one of his big ideas.
Sagittarians as an employee.
Sagittarians love being with people and working with people. He’s a very good team player. Being always happy and optimistic he will serve as an inspiration or a morale booster for his fellow employees.
Some of the careers or prefessional fields that a Sagittarian could consider are: Entrepreneur, Teacher/Professor, Lawyer, Sales and Marketing, Writer/Journalist, Public Relations, Trader, Sports Instructor, Athlete, Travel Agent, Tourism related fields.

I am a Sagittarius as well, I went to school for medical assistant once I graduated high school, years later I ended up going to school for medical billing. Now I am currently thinking about going to school for massage therapy. Yes as Sagittarius we have so many ideas
Im a sag, n I thinking of being actress or even fashion design. Isit okay for me to take either 1 as my career?
Good article.
I’ve been in finance for 12 years, which I am changing now to journalism, but I know for sure it will end up to Entrepreneur/legal profession.
Hi, I’m a Sagittarius.
We are seekers of knowledge which makes us the wisest of the zodiac. We are only all over the place when we don’t know our true purpose. As y’all already know we are very spiritual by nature and we love nature naturally so this makes us close to the creator. We are here to help humanity in anyway possible, but THE only way to fulfill our true purpose is to get grounded ourselves.
Meditation, positive daily affirmations and yoga are ESSENTIAL TO US SAGITTARIANS because it calms our 0 to 100 mind. We can be our own worst enemies and it’s all in our heads. “I am what I think I am”
Peace……….love………light……
MaryJane
P.S. I’m 33 yrs young and since age 22 I’ve been to school for Medical Assisting, Criminal Justice and Corrections, Cosmetology, Journalists, Barbering(I am licensed????)… I went to prison at age 18 so that was the actual beginning of knowledge for me.
I’m currently enrolling as a psychology major, minor in philosophy. And honestly, it’s what I’ve always wanted just didn’t wanna be in school so long not realizing learning is what I crave.
Dig my sage sisters and brothers because it’s not on the surface for us because we can be engrossed in many things, which only adds to our mental bank of knowledge. But time waits for no one so we gotta get going
I am corporate banker and i hate this job.. Anybody suggest me what should we as “sags can do.. I am interested in travel but how i don’t know…
HAHHA<3 all these comments made me smile and giggle im listening to beatles atm. I'm not working amt, im growing bunch of weed and selling it, i am streaming gameplay on computer many hours every day. I hate liars and evil people. And super lazy stupid people, i have became kind of a homeboy, havent been on citylife for a long time. But now ive became all lonely like, and thats no good, i fucken need some action! am bored! 😀 I NEED WOMEN. ps we all saggitarius are a bunch mumbling sexy whores of thruth!!!
I honestly can’t tell y’all how much i relate to your comments. I will be starting my senior year of high school in a few days and i feel completely lost on my future career decisions. I feel like i could do anything, my options are limitless. I have been under soooO much stress trying to figure out what major in college is right for me.. College deadlines are due in early October and i have no clue!!!!! I could be anything from an artist to a forensic accountant!! Ughhh, if only i could just see into the future and know the path i should take. Good luck to anyone going through these issues. It’ll get better though, i just know it!
This morning, when i woke up and feel bored with my life then i found this page. It is nice. We have same issue. I’ve been working for a corporate 12 years, but changed jobs within it: assistant, customer services, HR, marketing. Among that, i love marketing job because it doesn’t have daily work but by project such as event for customers, sales meeting, go around branches. And i confirm that the traveling job is most suitable for a sagi. But, the fact is our passionate not long last because when i travel to almost my country, then i get bored with the job. Now i m starting with the specification job that i have to find the right person to enter a project. I also want to run a business but i am fear that i will be failed. Anybody can give me encouragement?
Well, I’m 58 years old and the comments my fellow Sagittarians are making describe exactly how I’ve felt all my life. I have gone from one career to another, always looking for something that’s not boring and feels right. I’m artistic and I did find a gig as a wallpaper designer. That was fun, but it did not last. I tried the medical field, but OMG, I was so bored. I need something more creative to be happy. Well, at least after reading all these comments from other Sagittarians, I realize that the way I feel is due to the sign I was born under, and I guess there’s nothing I can do about that. So, good luck to all you other Sagittarians. I love you and totally get you. Thanks for sharing and letting me know that I’m not alone.
im a sagitarian im a master stonemason..but i wonted to be a marine bioligist..i still may make the jump.ive travelled all over the world working .using my hands to build houses.
Problem is, sags love everything. So often we have many things we want to go to school for and many things we want to do. If it helps anyone, it helped me a lot to have two jobs. One isnt nearly as boring when you do two different things throughout the day. Also i read earlier that we make good pilots lol. I wonder if this is true?
Guys me too!!! I was so nervous because I wanted to do nursing but I wasn’t sure so I enlisted to join the navy because I really don’t want to stay in my neighborhood. I’m not sure if I made the right decision, there was never a subject I was good at ????.
All my friends have plans and know what they want to do and are passionate about it, even after I graduated from high school I’m not sure if its the right path for me. I just hope I find something that will allow me to help others and give back to the world.
OMG, I thought there was something wrong with me. There are
so many of you that can’t make up your minds at only 17 and 20 years of age. Try 54 years of age and I’m still stuck. On top of that I just found out I’m more of a Sag than I am a Capricorn . My birthdate is Dec 22 right on the cusp. I’ve taken so many courses while raising my 2 boys. Love to learn and if I’m not learning I’m bored and depressed. I just took a Medical Office Assistant course and that seems to be a high demanding job . And some of the doctors can be quite rude. Nursing must be more so demanding. So far janitorial, short order cook , waitress , retail, MOA in walk in Clinics . All in all my best job , with satisfaction I love to do, was raising my boys.
I have read all the comments and concluded….
1.We all are born nurses…Lol 😀
2.All Sagis are mostly alike …we all like change so badly in our life that we need a profession made specially for ourselves which offers us a heck lot of travel…..
3.We are an “Awesome” zodiac sign who like to try everything in this one life……’=
OMG.. I am Sag googling to find some information about the way to find the right path for career. It seems, we are all the same. 😀
I am thankful born as Sag. From the readings I had about Sagittarius and from the moment I found this site I really thankful to God, knowing this is really me. Im 31 now and I thought I had nothing done right in my past. I had been into many relationship before and I transfered from one work to another.I cant even think of good things Ive done….But now I found out I am really amazing. I can do anything I want to do and I will become what I want to be….. joy, happiness and positive mindset towards everything will set me free in this very lonesome moment of my life.
Hi to all Sagittarius there, just read thoughts of my community, felt good, felt sorry too, than felt optimistic in the end (one of the best quality of us). Humble Advice to all of you, There is nothing like hard work, and there is no short cut to success, do what ever your heart feels right, keep Experimenting and “LEARNING”. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL…….
hi ! to every sag people. im also sag ,i m bored easily by any work. i like change. i m proud to be sagg. my birthday is 7 dec.
Honestly, the time that I read this, I am deciding on which track I will be choose. Would it be Accountancy and Buss. Management or Humanities and Social Sciences. Currently, I am in my Senior High School. I want to be a professor, the same thing as I want to be a game changer, an accountant. I love both of the subjects. It will be a bit hard for me, but thank God, I and we are versatile.
I’m a Sagittarius man with 3 years to go before retirement. I am bored stiff and restless. Wishing I could re invent myself in another career but feel it’s too late and will have to bite the bullet till retirement. What to do ?
Im 51 and still dont knoe what I reslly want as a career as I keep changing my mind and get board very quickly. I need to be around people and being stuck in an office alone staring at a computer screen all day is my idea of hell
Wow I feel soo understood here. I googled the same stuff and ended here. I’m 30 and I still don’t know what I want to do. I have so many interests, that it’s holding me back. Too hard to decide. Good luck fellow sags..
Hey guys I guess that I can get on board. Most of my pals went to college and did all they wanted to do. I went to college did well and am still searching. There are so many things that I love to do. Lately I am trying to focus to find one or two of my really favorite niches. wish you guys well.
I am sagg and problem for me i cant concentrate on one thing long within 2-3 years i was bored from my work then i want to switch
I hope those of you struggling with finding yourself, that you’ll see this comment. Do research on your chakras. I took a chakra test and discovered I had low scores in several areas of energy.
Of note, my throat chakra was below 50 (out of 100). As sagittarians, because we need diversity and learning in our lives, people may mistake us as flaky or misdirected, and subsequently we feel unheard and unable to express our voices.
Doing chakra healing exercises (Youtube) can help tremendously to unblock that unheard energy and at least help you feel more respected and calmed.
I love you guys been a sags is a good thing that people should pray for ,,lol , because we have it all,, lol
OMG I am not the only one. I am being pressured by so many of my family members to go back to school and focus on a degree ,but I am interested in many things. I’ve thought about becoming a nurse/vet/teacher/dean of schools. I have even wanted to have a profession and have side jobs because of my personality. I do not want to be stuck with something that I do not love. I love photography and music so I thought about starting an online radio station and doing photography part time. I am in love with so many things that I can not choose. Well, there is no end to learning. It is never too late to learn something new. For now, I’m on the path to becoming an elementary or middle school teacher. Best wishes to everyone.
I am a sag im 20 years old from canada… seriously blessed to be a sag, i love traveling, learning new things and always onto the next BEST thing. I suck at serving for some reason I cant multi task very well, I am not a detailed oritneted person either and thats the job… I wanna go to school for photography I think thats my biggest interest in life. I LOVE SAGS FOR LIFE FIRE SIGNS ARE THE NICEST PEEPS YOULL EVER MEET>\.
Hey there. I can’t believe there is a lot of people like me, this is awesome. But of course how am I supposed to know if I don’t get out, yes I am a shy Saggi. But as many of you I have no idea of what to do with my life. All my jobs have been retail but I am tired of it and want to do something else. Lately I have been thinking of going for a Dentist Hygenist and go around the world to help children who can’t afford to attend a dentist, but I am still not sure. Is anyone here a dentist hygenist? I would like yo know how is that going for a saggitarius.
I too am extremely glad i stumbled upon this forum! Im a 34 year old happy go lucky sag! Ive literally worked EVERYWHERE! This couldnt be closer to the truth. When I’m feeling idle, it’s the worst possible place to be. I’ve learned I’m most content working with animals. Specifically in natural, healthy nutrition. A holistic approach to potential health issues. Ive done it all! College, work, kids, marriage. All of it. And the most content I’ve found is when i lose myself in helping pets and their people! Just like most of us, it doesnt stop there. I want to learn as much as possible about as much as possible! I love being a sag! Yet I hate the constant discontent that comes along with being such an adventurous sign. Good luck to us all! Although we don’t need it! ????
Cheers!
Shoo this site is such a nice find at a perfect time.Hey to all my Sagi’s out there.I thought I was alone.Thank you to all for putting it into prospective.Im pretty much in the same boat, actually jobless as I have quite my 25year career path months ago.Now im hanging in there as im a bit scattered. I have adopted patience so lets see how 2016 being a 9year pans out as 9 is completion and so looking forward to 2017 a 1 year NEW BEGINNINGS.Love& light to all
Yea! I went to school and stuck with what I started with, chemical engineering but now I want to start a business with a friend to keep myself more occupied and something other than just engineering… Bc honestly that is boring sometimes and why follow someone else’s dreams when you can create your own. I don’t think this is field is what I was meant to be in, but I’ll make do and have another job I call my own on the side. This is me to the T.
I am a sag, and I’m a nurse, so I’m thinking that holds true. I also am part of every “Team” at my hospital to make change, etc. I also lover to write and draw, it keeps me from moving on to something else besides nursing.
Reading all your comments my fellow sags makes me giggles all the way down to the last comment. Now I know that I’m not alone. I was so emotional a while ago thinking too much what happen to me why at my age (mid 40’s) still can’t figure out what to do. I have lots & lots of ideas coming out from my mind and get excited about it but then when I did it I get bored and eventually leave it. Now I sufferred hearing negative comments from my partner, I sometimes felt so small, the unpleasant words I’ve heaed from him drags me down to the extent that I don’t want to do anything. I felt like I’m a looser! I realised I am typical Happy go lucky person.
I love being a Sagittarius, I feel positive most of the time, I never found my one true career, and why I’m not a writer or doing something with travel I’m not sure. I’ll try this teaching thing…I do know I need to feel useful in what I do.
Hi I’m a sag and that they are saying is true . I have tried a lot of work and still trying to get the best job I want.
Hey my fellow sags , another one is here , ready to everything bit don’t know what to do , business management graduate and also law graduate but still don’t know what to pursure . Typical saggi.
This describes me so much to a T!
The struggle is real.
constantly being bored and always trying to find ways to be entertained while keeping a steady job.
Anothwr proud sag here! I think this is spot on. I found that the medical field was not for me. I enjoy helping others and that brought me to human resources. Recruiting is great bc you get to talk to alot of ppl and help them get jobs. I’m now a human resources generalist and its the best job ever. I found my passion!
I’m 30 on the 19th and feel like I’ve got a purpose but still yet to find it. I’ve had my own sign business, I’ve played semi pro sports, I’ve driven a fork truck, I’ve delivered meat, Im a qualified electrician, ive worked in the U.S fitting granite work tops. I still don’t feel like I’ve accomplished anything of substance and reading these comments has given me some comfort in that I’m not alone and the constant searching is part of my soul. We fire our arrows in hope they will hit our destined target until then it seems we all keep firing. We’re a complicated bunch that realise from an early age the world and everything in it can be ours. We just search one thing at a time haha. For those who are in school and feel stressed about choices. Don’t, just get as much knowledge as you possibly can. Don’t worry about subjects too much. Just learn! I believe it’s knowledge we strive for not necessarily the perfect career. Although the more knowledge we absorb I believe the clearer our targets are to see. I’m still aiming blind but you guys have cheered me right up. The majority of successful Sagittarius throughout history have been, artistic, lots of authors, painters, actors, comedians, singers. Lots of athletes which is an art in many ways. Entrepreneurs we have many amongst us. Teachers, politicians including a certain Winston
Churchill. I have spent many years worrying about my life and am I on track. I haven’t made it easy yet I have accomplished or tried a lot depending how you look at it. Reading this page has made me realise we Sagittarius are on a long path that can take us wherever we like. It just may take a few decades.
Hi all, I’m a saggy, mom and dad as well. We are an erupting volcanos with our unique little islands. Born Dec. 16 like my dad. I’m 34 and still looking for that passionnate purpose hopefully one day. -Happy Holidays and New Years for everyone!!!
I love sag! bt is confusing in chosing a job. I m a graduate of computer science wt mathematics n now teaching bt do change from one place to another due to poor salary. Now thinking on what to sell or another handwork to learn
I chose pharmacy field and been doing it for 11 years. Need a change for sure now…..bring it on 2017!!!!! May all you awesome saggi’s out there find that job that brings you joy and satisfaction everyday.
Wow lol. I just turned 28 this month and as I am getting closer to my thirties I’m freaking out a bit. I feel rushed to figure out what I want. But that’s the thing, I know what I want I just can’t find the “job”. I have an immense passion to be on the go traveling and roaming this planet all while exploring and bettering myself but also helping others. I’ve thought about flight attendant, travel agent, etc but I am not passionate about those things! I worked at a law firm for 7 years and it was a hell for me. I’m also single after a 9 year relationship so life seems to have this big new open door and I’m trying to figure out what will make me truly and deeply happy! I love writing on my blog, making videos, etc. I’m wondering if I should go to a film school or maybe get into marketing or PR. I don’t know! Lol. I do know that I do best as a contractor, an independent job or even be my own boss. I have hope my heart will lead me to what I’m meant to do. But I wish I was a little clearer on it lol! I enjoyed reading everyone’s thoughts. Those are mine !
I came across this article and after reading the comments, I literally laughed out loud! I can relate to so many of you! I always knew I could be ANYTHING from a doctor to a lawyer. I was never too sure of what I wanted to study after high school so I changed my major a few times! I knew I wanted to be a business owner and wanted to make a career out of my hobby. I am now a massage therapist and working on my accounting degree LOL! I love school and I enjoy learning.
I Had a smile on my face the whole time while reading the comments I am 29 years old, i have my own business for 8 years now and this will be my last year. I don’t feel happy anymore doing it!! Don’t know what i want to do or what i am going to do… Just wan’t to go backpacking and travel the world happy to know i’m not the only one. My goals (it’s never about money of carreer) just simple happiness !! LOVE All of you .. Stay the amazing person you are ..????????
I’m a sag too…. n everyone here seems just like me ….. m doing m 12 n was thinking for pursuing psychology … is it good for me …..?
